What a good start to my new year. Crashed the car
What a start/ end to a year, just binned the turbo, lost it coming out a left right, but I wasn't speeding before any one say, as I know that bend is shit let alone when super grease like it is at the mo.
slid off up the kerb, and though a sign post, lucky the sign came down softly, but I when over it.
Body work isn't to back but looking like the Steering and Suspension damage.
Good thing is it could have be a lot worse and one was hurt, as the slid started pull me to the wrong side of the road where I could see a young girl heading towards me, i managed to get it sliding the other way, but could stop the slid.

Unlucky, having driven endlessy on these type of roads in Cumbria and Yorkshire, I can understand how you can easily go slightly offline and lose it. Mud is not very forgiving. I hope your car is ok.

Gutted for ya! Hopefully won't be too much too sort. I always take advantage of a bad situation (money permitting) and replace with bigger and better items - kinda makes you feel better about it! Had a small front ender with my Saph, not much damage but did the rad in, so replaced with an alloy thicker core jobbie and sorted the cooling out no end, LOL. At least you are ok!!!

no more Granada's for me
take no notice of the 'no sympathy' post mate, probably every single one of us on here has done something stupid since we have been driving.. shit happens, we learn from it, and no one was hurt.. whether you were speeding or not doesn't matter so long as you learn from it.. your one of the lucky ones, in my old job doing recovery i saw numerous little miss haps that resulted in fatal rta's. good luck with the car mate, it don't look to bad.

Hi all,
Been have a little look at the car to day after getting out of bed, may have drank too many beer, is a mardy bout the car.
Damage is looking to be, Anti roll bar and mounts, bent back on the mounds. Front beam looks to be undamaged. TCA bent back, Track end rod bent S shaped and both near side wheels fucked.
Body work cracked bumper, lil crack front indicator, wing pushed back a lil bit and loads of scratches, that side of the body kit is broken in a few places.
Going to take the chance of sorting all my rot now, and hopeful a paint job.
One thing I dont know if its damage is the rear wheel, cant tell is its sitting in the right place, weather is bent back a bit, hard to tell the half the plastic arch missing.
My next Problem is what do I do about insurance, do I got though them and run the risk of them say its a write off. Or just sort it my self?
I'v also got to think of the sign post, iv got to pay for it, would insurance pay for that?
