Default Battery help please..

Granny bought me a auto care 4 amp battery charger for christmas (bless her), suitable for most 12 volt 6 cell lead acid batteries from 20ah to 70ah.

My battery is a "Banner Starting Bull" 571/014, which happens to be 71ah What I need to know is will the charger she bought me charge the battery properly or will it damage it?

Thanks in advance.

Big-Dan.

As said will charge it fine, but very slowly, makes a nice trickle charger though, just make sure to switch off when charged as most likely continuous current.
The present or recent lidle deal on the £15 smart charger was ace, can be left 24/7, all year, and does conditioning as well, all battery types.

Thank you both for your help.

Unfortunately she had already bought the auto care charger for me before I mentioned the lidl offer. Still, if it does the job I guess there's nothing to worry about.
