as said there horrible in a road car!
if you can buy a sheet cheap enough (and its not cheap) they i would say make some yourself, if you cant get hold of cheap poly,,,just buy some as they dont really add much onto a sheet price

..BS Motorsport..
you could have them heated, they use them in a lot of plant vehicles, company called romag put the heating elements in to them but these are double glazed units which I doubt youd want in your car!

PassionFord Post Whore!!
i looked into polly carb windows last month, sheets are roughtly 52quid pluss vat for a 8x4 4mm lexan, i recon 2 sheets for all 5 windows on my 3 door.
So roughly 120 quid then do the work .
I just ordered a set as i would rather pay an extra £80 and have them do the work and put in the sliders.
Bear in mind this is a flat kit for curved units add 120 plus, then if you want a set with the black trim on the outer and curved they are over £400.
As for a heated screen i would say no, and as said the noise is crap in a road car, so i wouldnt do it.

i dont find min noisey, and i drove to nurburgring in my 205,
the only part thats noised is the slider, but thats easily fixed.
my rear is bonded in and my side rear's are fitted with rubers, so oe fitment
my drivers and passenger doors are bolted in and using the normal rubers, so not nosiey
as for heater in the rear,
heat and plastic? do you really want to chance it?
they do scract VERY easily though,
