Your car looks pretty clean!! To start with, fit an RS Turbo interior, lower it, fit some anthracite wheels, lose the rear spoiler and then take your pick of almost any engine Ford has produced to replace the standard unit...

i bid on that car on ebay, idea in my head was to put a 2l zetec in and put some steelies on, bit of a sleeper. best of luck with it.
