The Gearbox is full manual sequential C6 with a custom built high-stall torque convertor. This was made to suit the power/weight of the car and has 3800/4000 stall speed.
Manual valve body. Kevlar clutches & bands. transmission cooler.
B&M Ratchet shifter solid mount to gearbox (whole thing lifts out without having to remove gear linkage).

trev that built it has over 100k in it up to now and thats just in parts etc ,not his time doing it and the last rebuild cost 19k and thats just the engine/box/axle .... he just ran out of money so had it of him as a toy to play in

Its got the biggest supercharger in the UK for a road going car 'Littlefield' teflon-tipped, hi-helix 14-71 supercharger. That's about the same size as you see on the top classes of rail and funny-car engine 3000+bhp engines

Jesus thats some hefty supercharging going on there.....why does it have straps fastened to it? is it likly to want to be away down the strip without the car or something?
so it dont hit anyone

i dont no its running the same times and my car is on road fuel if use Top Methanol my engine will be running around 2500-3000bhp and i would be doing 7sec 1/4

its been in CF at the end of 2007 and the old engine gave up at the photo shoot 
thats why its had a new bigger engine in with more power its running in at 1500bhp when its ran in it will be about 1800-2000bhp

its so you can keep the RPM off the engine high with your foot on the brake ready to get off quick from the light , a standed gearbox would stall the engine if you try'd to get the RPM up with your brake on

Thats fooking mint.Ive got a street machine magazine with the full feature of that car in.I love cars like this.I always said i would have one but i cant see that happening.

Judging from the power on tap and the amount of rubber to put it down, I would think you will be able to get low 8's with ease.
There are turbo'd, Fox bodies in the States running high 8's. Plus they are street driven cars with stock(ish) rear ends and drag radial tyres.
So with what youre packing you the Escort I have little doubt you have plenty more to come
