leather

 

i got them quite cheap i think
got the sideskirts and seats plus grill and screen wash bottle for just a few hundred nots

so didnt think i done too bad

just need a seat badge as the pins have snapped on one

From a Granada Scorpio 2.9 ultima

The car was built for someone "special" in fords whoever that was then the car has been sold.....smashed(x2)......and reclaimed

 

obviously not fitted as standard.

May have been fitted to a Ford.

Yes mate they are. The Rouse ones have the std headrests that come on most recaro's just Jazzed up a bit in some occasions. The ones out of the Granada are smaller and look quite sexy If you dont like them the std type will fit

 

and leather i thought?

no granada had them seats

all ultimas had full leather and electrics

Probably the only Ultima to have the nice seats removed and rover ones fitted instead then is what your saying?

I have one in my old Granada. Pic is of old black car, though its in my green car now.

The guy who got the other one has it in a Transit van lol


As mentioned already, Ultima seats are very similar.

Price does seem a bit dear. Thats roughly what was paid for my pair about 13 years ago.
( My car got one, the Transit the other. Couldnt afford to keep both )

Jano your right those seats where out of a scorpio they where also avab for mondeo`s as well an option extra around £1500 a seat thats why there so rare no fooker could afford them only a few ford diretors etc... got to have them


As for a rouse seats about £2000 each when new
and normal saff recaros where around £1500 a seat

seat/Trim where big money back in there day i seen so many cosworth wrote off with just trim and alloys missing .

 

its a shame that they did cost that much in there day, many more peeps would have had them and maybe not so many cars would not have been written off.

Not me personally. A Mate who owned the car before me. Thats why they split the 2 seats between him and another friend. They couldnt afford the pair of them.
That was second hand. I think it was actually about £800 they paid. But second hand back then would only have been a couple of years old.
New I would guess at the seats being over £1k each.

£600 maby,would have to sell the standard ones to recoupe

 

Depends how much you want them i pay £500 for a spare set

But if i had a rouse with fooked seats a £1000 maybe

IMO the only real difference is the bit at the shoulders.

Not worth it IMO, all you are getting is a bit of exclusivity. A good set ox 4x4 leather is just as good, if not better

 

i got 4x4 leather in my shed mate im so glad i got hold of the rouse seats so much more of a snug fit id say

not much sliding around as to the standard recaro as the extra wings stop you top half from moving over

plus you get a different badge not the recaro name either lol
