focus st
hi there i have a focus st and when i start it it revs up to 2k rpm but comes straight back down. I was told this was normal with the cold weather. Is this right.

Even with normal weather, it will alway go to 2k anyway. This is to allow the engine to be warmed up before dropping down to just under 1k.
