In fact, I am a bit of a blackeye whore!!

Along came my first focus, I blacked the headlights out straight away, was one of the first to do it on the focus owners club,

Then I bought a set of facelight headlights, and smoked those before fitting;

Then I bought this with the factory xenons;

and quickly did this to it, which was a bum clenching moment at a few hundred pounds per headlamp unit;

And now I'm trying to pluck up the courage to do the same to this!

not sure about on escorts but on the mondeos you take out the headlight and heat up the glue holding the lense on, flick the caps off but not breaking them.
then you get t-cut to buff off the chrome inside of them, reheat the glue and stick them back on

The V6 badge and height will be sorted, the wheels are staying unless i come into some money, and the sunstrip, well, hadnt even thought about it tbh.

Tough one mate, i think red and black go well together, and black and black, but was looking at a mates 200 yesterday with blackeyes, and i didnt really like them against the racing blue paint tbh, they did look better than the standard lights though, so was defo an improvement, but i have a genuine dislike for the standard headlights, far to big imho.

black eyes look great, I had a set on my ST24 and they really help make the massive lights look smaller.

When you lower the car make sure you lower the front more than the rear as the shape of the front arch makes it look higher. I lowered my ST24 40mm all round on koni springs and I could have easily gone another 5 or 10mm on the front. I was told it would settle but I was never really happy with how it looked side on. I have a feeling some makes of lowering spring kits you can buy for the Mk2 are 40mm rear, 50mm front.

Most of the normal kits, PI,GMAX, JAMEX etc lower the same front and back, but im sure i have seen kits that lower the front more, because as you say, they do sit higher at the front.
