Bl**dy Cosworth!!!
After mine being sat dormant since Croft in June and failing MOT in July on welding I finally had enough of walkin past it every day and decided it was time for her to go. A mate has been interested in it for ages and came for a look at it a few weeks ago, agreed a price and he went away to sell some of his stuff to buy my car. Now 4 weeks later and no word or mention I thought fuck it Ill charge the battery and start her up. Bloody thing started half a turn of the key with no taps or noises and just sat gurgling at me, my heart melted
I then decided to run it round the block just to free brakes off etc.
Having done that I came home I proceeded to book it into my mates garage to get its weding done and some new brake pipes and fuel lines.
Dammit Im keeping it again now. Why are they so bloody addictive????

Tell me about it, i wish i could just sell them and be done with it!
2WD is up for sale, already changed my mind once, and it looks like i'm just going to keep it because I'm not sure i should really part with it, and I'm tired of getting asked silly q's, I'd rather people just come and see the car for themselves.

Fiddy I know I would have ended up with another eventually. Was just hoping I had them out of my system for the time being. How wrong I was. I would have been fine if I never had to to hear, see or drive one again.

Ha Ha quality Ian, just get the welding done properly not just patched over so it wont need doing again in a years time.
Bit like mine ive left her in the garage for about 3 months now due to the winter and clutch needing to be done, i must admit the selling thought come into my head but when i started her up in the garage and it sat there bellowing back at me i had to take it out for a quick drive then washed and polished it, bloody cossies they get into your blood.

doug fella.......everything anyone can say has been checked/changed.....the car needs to be plugged into a laptop and monitored in real time so when the fault happens it can be logged/fixed.....the cars been in different garages and auto electricians to no avail..........Rob (the diva) will sort it as he has "the technology"......(mind u it would have been quicker to take it to london as he's had it for a month......)
