Doubtful imo, he likes to dominate and it's just not gone his way this afternoon. Higgins is such a solid player, can't see him not closng it out unless ronnie has one of his sessions of brilliance!!

Missed it this afternoon so not seen how well ronnies been playing but finishing the last session on a century will have helped him. He'll have his work cut out though.

Ronnie just hasnt had much table time, hes missed precious little, the scoreline really doesnt tell how the players have been playing really.

Both of ronnies 2 wins were century breaks, and made with style.

As i said i would not count ronnie out, he might have a stormer this evening and shock higgins if he comes out thinking hes already won it, who knows will have to wait and see

If anyone can he can, BUT Higgins is an fantastic front runner also and imo the only guy outhere that can compete to Ronnies standard/level.

Will be interesting if Rocket can win the first 2....

He's some man to come back from that far down to take it to a deciding frame. Think most folk would crack under that pressure.

Also love JV commentating and how excited he gets. lol

Haven't watched the 7pm session yet, Sky plus'd it but couldn't resist having a check on the score and was shocked to see it 9-8. Watched early afternoon session and spent most of it pissed off and knew it would go like that.

Higgins is such a great player, probably the best tactically and a decent bloke but by god I hate his game. I know he can bang in the breaks too but he's slow and shits it every time v Ronnie. Sure its smart play and the mental side of it but he just grinds Ronnie down keeping it tight waiting for him to take the risk. O'sullivan being the attacking player will do and he seems to get never ending luck as well to help him.

The 3rd frame sums it up for me, did you see it? Ronnie was 2-0 down after typical grinding, safety led games by Higgins then Ronnie wins one by getting a century break potting the yellow off a red to go 104 I think leaving himself on the yellow again, start of the colours clear up and he's almost taking his shot whilst the cue ball is moving and the ref has just got the yellow back on. Ref goes 104 then 106 straight after almost in the same sentance, crowd laugh, Higgins even laughs and then he smashes the pink off the table. Just pure excitement from Ronnie, gutted he didn't make the final as he's the better player IMO but John has his number at the minute with this grinding/tactical play. Ronnie's safety play wasn't the best from what I've seen so far to be fair but it was the risks as well. He needs to adapt next time he plays Higgins and when he gets drawn into that grinding game he wants (which will be straight away lol) he needs to play more negative, but that aint the Ronnie way.

Snookers, safety etc is great to watch just not 24/7. Is it possible to find a sportsmans game a cunt even if you don't think they're a cunt as a person? LOL.

ronnie did not get hardly any table time in the first session, he spent most of it sat in his seat, and john had the run of the ball/luck, nothing was going right for ronnie.
Then the evening session he was on fire hence way he got it back to 8-8, i was so pissed when higgins won it as you say hes a great player all round but theres no flare really, would have much rather had a ding vs o'sullivan final but hey ho
