I may have dreamt it, but I'm pretty sure a few months when someone (Twins?) was making a 1/18 scale S1 model that someone said that Sunstar were soon to be putting one into production shortly after their RS1600i.

Do I remember correctly and does anyone have the info?

I'm pretty sure someone got in touch with Sunstar and said that as long as a enough people pre-ordered, they would consider making other new models.

Anyone care to copy or give the highlight of what's on the S1 site for the benefit of non-members?

Also, if Sunstar are willing to listen to people who want new models on the market and are willing to pre-order, what models would people be interested in that aren't already available in 1/18 scale? I'd buy most things, but for starters I'd definitely buy:

-S1 RST
-S2 RST
-Saff
-FRST
-Racing Puma
