hi people i have just purchased a mondeo on an 03 plate 20l tdci ghia i only recieved with the car 1 3 button key do these cars require the master key (i seem to remember on older fords it was a red key) if so i take it i need to go to ford if not can i reprogramme extra keys using my 3 button remote ??

the red key is the master key and is the only one that holds all the info for the car they are now black with a red insert well they are on our car

These cars dont have a master key you could buy a key from ford then they will have to give you a sercurity number so that the key will get coded in to the ecu.
