I've got these ones in my fiesta, with laser blue sidelights (501 bulb) and they're alot better than standard. Light is alot whiter (not blue) and it makes night driving alot easier, especially on unlit roads (my old ones were useless on country lanes) definately recommend them tbh.

20K+ Super Poster.
In Auto Express for the last two years the Philips Extreme have won, closely followed by the Osram Nightbreaker.
I had extreme in a mk3 astra, as those lights are crap as std, I then modded it to keep dip illuminated even on mainbeam, made a world of difference for 10 minutes work, NB mine were already through relays I fitted.
I then fitted HID 4300K, 6 months later refitted the extreme as they were better vastly better pattern, the HID chucked out vastly more light everywhere inc tree tops, sideways etc and was dazzling.
I know from past experience just beefing up the earths and running the lights through relays made a huge difference to my mk1 and 2 sierra's.
Currently I have extreme my dad has nightbreaker, there is very little in it, but I find the extreme has a very HID white output about it on dip.
Fitment of retro fitted HID's is not a MOT issue as the source of the light is not mentioned, so could be a candle if bright enough and gave a good beam.
The mk3 astra with the HID PASSED the MOT on beam pattern, even though it was shit, the machine said good.
I used to run 160/100 and 130's in the sierra with relays but found the extreme to be as bright as a 130 watt bulb despite using around half the juice.
