After thinking long and hard last night and this morning of what we can do to pay our respects to a fellow member and friend to so many on this site and others, and from what Caroline (his wife) said on the phone last night, I would like to make the following suggestion as she would like to get his car to the way he wanted it.
As some of you know Andrew was going to buy the carbon hockey sticks, spoiler and splitter off Dave(YUM), Caroline mentioned that she still wants them to finish his car off to the way he wanted it. I told her not to worry about them as I will sort it out for her, as she has more than enough on her plate. Having spoken to Dave last night he has very kindly offered to go and fit them for her.
What I think would be a nice gesture (and I hope you all agree) is that we use paypal to setup a way for people to donate money. I need to speak with Caroline regarding all of this but I think it would be nice if we could use the donations to do the following with
1. Pay for his carbon bits
2. Get the picture of the photoshoot framed for the family
3. Arrange flowers and a card from all of us
4. Anything that is left over we wait for Caroline's instructions on what she would like to do with it
I hope you all agree that the above is a good idea, and a way that we can pay our respect to a fine gentleman whose life was cruelly cut short by a tragic event.
In order to donate, please could you send all donations to my paypal address as a gift only, to escortcos@hotmail.co.uk
Ben
If anyone wants to help us give him a good send off, then please do.
Jason

None of you guys know me, and I only joined PassionFord to annoy my mate Rich aka Richie. because we have a Ford/VW love/hate thing.
Anyway, that is irrelevant really, I just want to say how sad I am to hear about Andys death, I served with Andy on HMS Trafalgar, he was an awesome bloke and he is going to be missed.
Sorry to be an intruder but I wanted to pass on my condolences to those that knew Andy and his family.

R.I.P. Frank (Andrew Spencer)
Knew him as a friend, lived with him on a Farm for a time. I had the privilege to have him as my Best man and my wife had the Honour of him giving her away at our wedding. Also served with him on the Mighty Raglafart (Trafalgar).
He was a part of our family and will never be forgotten.
My heart felt condolences go to Caroline and the kids.
Love you and miss you Frank

I havent been on here for years, but i heard about this the day it happened, i live in the same town as him you see.
My best mate was on his way to his daughters 6th birthday party, where HE was actually on his way to that day on his bike, when he (my friend) recieved a call saying the party was off.
Also another very good friend of mine lives on the same street as him, and is friends with his wife, she's been up and said it's a hard time of course and the navy have been brilliant.
If i can do anything like post cards or drop things that are collected to them let me know, just drop me a pm as i dont visit here much anymore.
RIP, never meet the guy face to face but ive spoken to him a few times on here in the past.
