8k ago rebuild is it worth it
i been looking at a 3dr that has had a engine rebuild 8k ago is it worth goin for ,,,how long does a yb go for till its ideal to rebuild it again providing you dont blow it yourself

Depending on what power it's running you'd bloody hope it's still be okay after 8k if it was a proper rebuild and genuinely was 8k ago, strong engines the yb's, it's all the other 20 odd year old parts you'll need to look at!

Actually at 8k it should just be broken in and making maximum power. If it was setup right, run in right and has decent oil in it you can beat on it right away.

Ooh now you've got me wondering.....i mean if norris off coronation street had built it i'd say go for it......but NMS, i just don't know now pmsl! Karl Norris has a good reputation so should be all good, give him a ring and ask him if he knows the car perhaps.
