Right, im in the process of striking a deal for some parts from a company in Italy. There seems to be a bit of a language barrier and the price seems really good. Although i have double checked with them that the parts i willl be getting will be correct for my vehicle, do paypal cover me if they send parts for the different/older model?

Basically, will i be covered for 'item not as described' if its all on the paypal invoice he sends me, and it turns out that he sends me parts for a different/older model?

gotta watch them italians they are as shifty as fook,i had one tell me to my face that bent cosworths in italy are normal,thats why the one i had in my garage at home from italy wasn't.

I know what you mean mate. Well ive just confirmed everything with him and it all seems ok, so im gonna bite the bullet and go for it.

Now what REALLY annoys me is paypals exchange rate! Ill be sending $2500 US dollars and it looks like ill be charged around Ł70 for it!

 

i woulod never ever send a parcel to itally there useless and paypantrs wont give a shit, dont know what its like receiving one though, pay with ya credit car atleast then covered with that

 

same goes for ebay,

if for whatever reason goods arnt what you thought etc then dont claim that just claim not received as not as described paypal turn the ownus onto you to return them recorded etc which means your out of pocket etc
