Default Santa beards .. come on be festive!

Thinking of growing one this year (never had one as the itch is overwhelming! )

I'm about 5 days in and NEED a shave PMSL .. But wanna ride it out and see what a cock I look

[Yes, I look like a cock without a beard before anyone else gets in there :P ]

Any tips?

Sporting fur myself at the moment. The itch goes away eventually but light trimming works well to reduce the scrabby look.

Ladies are digging the fur where I'm from. Getting far more looks than before.

Don't shampoo it, just use conditioner when it's wet in the shower. Should get you past the itchy stage.

I shave all over, otherwise I am .7 seconds down on my 100m swim.

Ah, finally a topic on PF on which I can offer technical advice!

You just have to push through the itchy stage; it goes away eventually. I would advise against shampooing. To keep it clean and prevent any dirt buildup I use a face cleaner and if you want you can condition it too, though I don't bother. If the face cleaner has a moisturiser in it that can often relax the skin and prevent the itchiness. Oh, and get a proper beard trimmer rather than trying to use scissors; it makes life so much easier.
