Would this be worth anything, as I chucked the last set out, this one only has 5 miles on it, would I be liable if I sold it and it went bang considering it is like 21 odd years old ?

You could advertise it as 'show use only, not to be used on a moving vehicle' within the description, then explain that as it is so old, you cannot guarantee it's safety.

Mine is from a 88 sapph, I got a puncture, so put it on to do the 5 miles to the tyre place, to get me puncture fixed, and ordered a new tyre for the spare whilst there, didn't fancy 100+,(on a private road obviously) on 20+ old rubber, I was shitting myself enough in those 5 miles.
