Default Fensports celica does 202mph in 28sec@ 2,4bar 700bhp
fensports celeca running a JEMS built engine ran at wood bridge today

0 to 150mph in just 10 seconds

0 to 202 in 28 seconds.

run1 197

run2 199

run3 202.1 (would have done more but had a small missfire)

700bhp ish at 2.4 bar 8100 rpm.

so very well done Adrian and Jon.

woodbridge is not very long either i dont think, well i run off the end into the roughage after doing 149.8mph in my xr2 because i couldnt stop in time

what sort of power does a celica need to do 200? theyre quite aerodynamic in comparison so much less than a cossie?

Pmsl yeah as said norry's evo will go on to 200mph no worries too so it's not a completely different setup mate.....it's a more powerful quicker car, end of! Still very impressive stuff by the fensport guys mind

Its been there..... or there abouts for a few year now hasn't it??
Proper weapon and fairly rare, i wonder why these arent more popular... in 2wd foramt obvioulsy, i can imagine 4wd'ing one becomes costly.

He managed 200.4mph in his Corolla which had less power than the Celica. Both cars are very impressive!!

Saw the car at santa pod a while ago. that guy Adrian couldnt of been nicer,
much like Mark at MAD, he spent ages talkin to us about the car ETC..

but he is also very realistic about
where he is in the 'tuner wars' freely admitting to me and my mate that he just cant plough the money into it that Norris and that lot can, so just cant compete.

Ironically, because of drivetrain loss differences the top speed would probably be higher if it was, although the 0-150mph time certainly wouldnt be on road tyres!
