Assasins Creed 2
Anyone got it?
Im really enjoying it. such a step up from the last one. The attition of plenty of weapons, upgradable armour and an actual story line.
Although I did play for a few hours earlier and it didnt save
so im playing through again. Bit annoying.

Loved the first one even with it's nasty glitches it had, was hoping someone would put a post up am still hooked on MW2 but really fancy this, so u think it's worth a look then?

It does look pretty good.
The first one also bored me after about 2-3 hours as it was the same thing over and over again, though apparently the missions are a lot more varied in the new one.
I'll pick it up second hand no doubt in a couple of weeks as its that type of game.

I wasn't going to bother with the sequel but quite fancy this now after reading a review on it the other day. First one was great in terms of graphics, story, idea and the scrambling across the roofs but the repetitive pick pocket missions and diving off towers over and over became annoying after so many times.
As Bbsheppo said above though they've meant to have sorted that out so well worth a look.

The first one was very repetative, where as this one is set out with more of a story. you dont start the game as an assassin, so you have to learn everything. this way you choose what you want to improve on, whether it be ranged weapons, or the hidden blades etc and it also gives you a bit more of a reason to be killing these people, rather then cos some beardy bloke told you too.
there is also so many little things to polish the game up nicely. much better hand to hand combat, disarming enemies, smoke bombs for quick getaways, bledning now just happens when your in big crowds of people, different classes of soldiers that each need different tactics, picking up the dead to hide them from other guards, upgradable armour/weapons, treasure maps which lead to big area's which are like a climbing puzzle.
