i've been told i've bought a mk5 fiesta
but according to halfords, it's a mk4 until 2002

and secondly, i'm looking for some zetec s wheels and the only ones i can find seem to be listed for a mk6, but i'm sure they made zetecs' in a mk5 didn't they?

and a mk4

so can someone show me pics of what's what top confirm?

as you have pictured them is correct as far as I am aware - tis halford though!

That said, the mk4 & 5 are going to be very similar mechanically.

I think Ford refer to it as the Mk4 Facelift and the Mk6 a Mk5.

Infact I don't even think Ford refer to them as Mk's.

best to go off the year then for parts, the lumps in the mk4 and mk5 are the same I think.

Regards alloys, they will all be ford 4 stud, so would think any mk4,5,6 rims will go on it.

You can pick up some boggo alloys and good tyres for under a tone, and some zs rims with tyres for a little more.

Technically though the Mk6 is a facelift (or is it a 7 ) as it has the bubbled sidelights on the top of the headlamp (just to confuse matters)
