Dan, you are well within the 6 year limit to make a claim, you don't need contracts etc, just any form of evidence that he owes you money. IMHO you would stand a good chance of getting it back. It's people lying down and just accepting being ass-raped that let people like Simon get away with it, for £35 and a tiny amount of work, I would be having a damn good go at getting it back. Just thinking about some cunt ripping me off would be enough drive for me to be making his life a big big hassle, he is laughing at you at the moment...
