One thing that has always bugged me about my car is the struts for the boot, last time I was doing something in the boot they gave out and the catch smacked me straight in the back

Are there different strength struts available? I'd like to get some stronger ones so I can attatch my stealth shelf without it hitting me again

 

 

Bloody new 1's from Ford are more than Ł50 each

New shape Vauxhall Astra 1's fit tho scrap yard time

 

Mk3 xr3i are the stongest (and S1) as they had the heaviest rubber spoilers

 

Wot about Sierra ones steve i have all the 500 bits on mine and heavy as fook.Anyothers fit.

 

Or go to a place that do custom ones, you can pretty much by any lenght strut with a custom pressure rating!!!!! Do a search on google..........
