Maybe a problem with the map, maybe the dreaded fuel pump on its way?
Not had it RR'd but compared to other ST170's its very strong and its performance on the road suggests its putting out at least factory figures, unlike many of the 155bhp ST's kicking around. I have a Cat back Mongoose
Certainly sounds like somethings up then. I'd expect yours to have the legs on the clio. Mine will pull strong to 130+ without too much trouble within about 3/4 mile before i have to slow (for the end of the "track" ). Absolute max i've seen on the clocks is 145 and she was pulling nice and strong all the way.

I'm just getting a panel filter and an automatic air deflector. I see different results from the exhausts on forums, some have seen losses for some reason. Was thinking mongoose cat back for ours too.

The kick isn't anything like a Vtec, it's quite smooth. I really think you'll be disappointed with the performance if you're expecting something quite sporty. They are great cars to drive, but not quick. I went from my Impreza to one, and the Focus felt like my first 1.2 clio again on the way home.

Brilliant handling and decent brakes standard though.
Its the wifes car when it finally arrives.

To the OP, it was just in reference to a comical thread about the power of st170s from a while back.

Make sure you get a good one as there is massive power difference between good and bad!

A panel filter and Auto Air deflector should be standard on all ST170's. I have the auto defector on mine. The mongoose is a good exhaust, not very loud at all which suits me
