Hi guys, was at an rally to day where i live (isle of man), sum lads in an evo come over biging up ther evo, well fast 300bph bah bah... am like yer its ok, there asking bout cossie, am like just 300ish bhp stg3.

Though nowt of it, later on pull out of junction wid can of cola in hand and this evo nails it by, I though am gona show them lads what british bull dog cossie is! through can in the back,nail it after him,, caught up with him, bout 90ishmph on bumpy back roads evo gripping like mad, saff sliding about. Am right up his aRSe at this point, and there was a stright comeing, so he nailed it and i went with him, am up the side by side at 130mph now, thinking should i let of?.. nar foot right to the floor pulled like a train past him, flicked him the 'V' kept it pinned turned around and drove past the other way! lol
Has put faith back in to my cossie after loads going wronge with it, some times you forget how fast they are against 15grand+ cars!

Im really not into flicking people the V when racing, wether i win or lose i always have some respect for the other guy, in fact ive made loads of friends from racing people then stoppping to have a chat afterwards.

Fair play on beating him though.

 

m8's just bought a Evo8 22 odd grand and we went for a blast on the m25 and from 70mph - 100mph we were side by side after that to 150 he was about 3 cars back then he came out with the BIG statement "WELL I'M ONLY STANDARD" my reply well DONT give it billy big bollocks

Was real good burn, aint gave it sum against a 'fast' car, only flicked him the 'V' for a laugh saw him again to nite, and he was ok with me, said the saff sounded like a fighter jet at full boost and was gutted mine was 10grand cheaper!! lol

a standardish evo should be no probs for a GOOD stage 3 cossie in a STRAIGHT line.

my std evo6 was dynod (completely standard!) at 294.8 at the flywheel. and that was much much quicker feeling than my stg 1 saph that was pushing what ...270ish. ive yet to have a tussle with my esocs running 330 against my old evo that was running about 350 when i sold it.
