Yes, I will almost certainly remap it, I'm just not as urgent to do it as I thought I would be.

Car looks great. People all tend to progress their tastes and everyone does that at their own pace. No one telling u to do it will ever make it happen.

You always end up digging in so deep when you modify cars that I can't be bothered anymore. I want a loud pipe on the M3 and a set of the brembo 6 n 4 pots. Other than that, standard will do me just fine .

What is the steering like on it? Really good and progressive?

Looks great and guessing it might see some track action? A reasonable all round motor car indeed!

Cheers

RW

Yeah - the novelty to this car is more than "power", therefore less requirement to modify, to get your kicks. I just like sitting in my m3, it always feels special, especially after driving a golf gt tdi everyday .

Cheers

if you thought the bean tin spent alot of time off the road, just wait, maybe all roses now, but soon enough, its nothing but french shit, it will feel great to you not being used to owning a near new car, and owning an RST, but the novelty will soon wear off, even more so when it starts fucking about, and mark my words it will.

enjoy it while you can.

Because they're made out of them, hence rust buckets

You all speak as though Fords are so great. Old Fords are just that, OLD. Modern Fords are no better than modern French cars.

The fact that I got out of a 350bhp RST and into this and am actually enjoying it must say something for what percentage of time I actually got good use out of the RST compared to the hours I spent working on it. I don't miss that! LOL.

I am probably in the minority but i quite like the styling and would make a nice car to just jump into and blast around.

i speak as someone who worked for a supplier to the french car manufacturers for 12 years and worked on many of their vehicles working closely with their 'engineering' departments. and as a driver of brand new hondas for the last 10 years. so i know enough about the 'quality' of french cars to make comment without comparing them to crappy old fords
