When i sent my Moniter back to you, you fixed it for me and sent it back ok. Also you helped me to find a dodgy sensor at Castle Coombe

Just thought i would say that the service i got from you was spot on

Jon ERST S2, Glad you are enjoying yourself
I have NOT said I am faultless but the original reason for this post and some
of Stu's later comments are completely unfair.
Just because the people who made the original thread are at the top of the PF
food chain, anything I say will be ignored or disregarded.
Then every one else jumps on the bandwagon and things escalate.

essexrsturbo,
I guess you dont understand sarcasm then

TIFF-C20WTH, Phil,
Thanks for saying that but wait for the backlash for daring to back me up.

POPEYE, I agree, that everyone should have the right to "big up" their tuner.
But, that siggy it SOOOOOO blatently an advert !

SECS,
Sorry, I forgot you had the display unit
You are bending the truth because it certainly did not take NINE weeks for you to get it.
So im not a liar then? LOL. Thanks.
Seriously though, im sure it was nine weeks and have the order e-mail and then the mails chasing and teh mail where i confirmed arrival.... i can check if required, but i hope its not, we will just conceed the point that teh rest is true as you havent disputed anything else.

SECS,
AGAIN
"Will have a better idea whats happening tommorrow, will let you know when I do"
Means when I know what I am doing, I will let you (Gus) know.
I dont know how else to describe my interpretation of this

SECS,
Will have a better idea whats happening tommorrow
So "tommorrow" you will know?

SECS,
will let you know when I do
So you will let us know... "tomorrow"

SECS,
I will let you (Gus) know.
Cool. So you will let Gus know what you are doing, when you find out, which will be "Tomorrow"

BUT YOU FOOKIN DIDNT
AND THEN YOU IGNORED PM'S AND CALLS... and teh result.. is THIS TOPIC

Even other customers i know have tried and tried to call you to teh point they have said to me "Thanks for the tip about S.E.C.S.. what a waste of time, ive had to go elsewhere cos he wont answer his phone or mails..Ta for the tip Stu"

Bosch Man,
Matt have you got that loom yet for the moniter?
I must admit, i thought the same!!
Surely now this really is about, 5months ish Simon? Matt?

but feel you must drag up my past in order to score points.
Whats next, pressing the ban button....
Erm... i believe you started that by calling me a liar. The point i was making is this is not an isolated incident of bad service ive had and i have NOT jumped on you at first sign of problems... nor would i ever do so

As i stated earlier, i felt sorry for Gus and defended him against your pals, after havinga few beers as i knew all these problems hes having are legally MY RESPONSIBILITY so i felt quilty he was having to resort to publically PMing the manufacturer on my own forum

With hindsight i shouldnt have done so and i appologise, but i did say many posts ago im happy to let it drop and wished id remembered to delete it last night, as ive also told PhilM in private.

This whole shitty incident is easily summed up:

1) Customer recieves faulty goods.
2) Customer is given run round by manufacturer.
3) Customer resorts to public pm after being ignored/lied to.
4) Customer is challenged by manufacturers pal.
5) Supplier feels compelled to support his loyal aggrieved customer.
6) Everything turns to shite.................

Unfortunately, we are still at stage 6 with no suggestion of a stage 7 scenario...

Steve@SCC,
AS far as I know, WE stopped selling to SCC due to the fact
that yourselves have had several ecu monitors and your company have NEVER
paid for them over a year ago.
I will need to confirm this with Spencer to be sure but as you have jumped on the
band wagon, so I need not keep this quiet anymore.

Simon - that's absolute rubbish and you know it!

Since I was working there at the time, I know EXACTLY how many phonecalls I had to make to chase up monitors, and it was always one excuse after another.

For you to suggest that SCC owed YOU money is ridiculous.

Very disappointed you'd let your business get this way again - it would seem not a lot has changed.

Pmsl @ that.......

Rob ordered 10 moniters ready for April 18th 2004 (start of the show season at Santa Pod) they never arrived then YOU were chasing for payment for moniters that hadn't even been delivered!!!!!!!!!!!! We never heard anything EVER again after this. Perhaps you lot shoud try taking to each other that way the left hand will know what the right hand is doing!!!!!!!!!!1

I have defended you on SEVERAL occasions on THIS site......... Now isn't it time you threw your toys outta your pram again and disappeared, sorted out your customer service and THEN come back.....

now thats a bad thing , im not gonna add anything of relevence to this post but i am very unhappy that a fellow ford ethusiast who is also making cool new products that are gonna benifit here is having all these problems

it would be a shame as theres not other alternatives from ford owners/fans that make stuff like this either

lets get this one sorted out and try and work to the future

simon this has to be affect business a bit and it would be a shame to lose all the research yya do too

lets hope you can try and find a way to reslove the reasons for others problems ( if its not your fault then find wher the fault is )

good luck in the future

ya cant please everyone all the time, but the secret i do at work is to resolve issues as best as i personally can ( like driving to st albans ( 30 odd miles away) to collect a 100 quid special order cycle for a customer on christmas eve otherwise a 8 year old kid aint gonna get his bike for christmas )

good luck people

Simon, i cannot believe i am getting involved in this post, but all you seem to be doing, is having digs at everyone that has replied so far . Its not doing you any favours . And the way i see it and probably most other people see it is this: If your customer service was good then this argument would never have taken place. If you run a business then i'm afraid that customer service is your main priority, before any financial gain. All this has come about because you don't seem to have any sort of customer care skills

We all make mistakes, that is inevitable, as no one is perfect or GOD as you sarcastically put it But from my experience if you put right what you have done wrong, you earn a certain amount of respect and in turn, your customer is happy and will come back again and you fell better yourself for correcting a mistake That customer will trust you in the future. We all make mistakes, just try and repair the damage done

when i get a ecu that works fully i will happly pay full price for the s8 as i thinks its very good also when i have payed that also means if it goes wrong i can turn up on your doorstep with it in my hand

i have weighted since april time for a fully working ecu not a demo one and got sick of asking so i went out and bort a stack rev counter(Ł500) as my ellot one is convigerd to run on a coil set up only and carnt be changed i can configer the stack my self as you ecu dont have a pulse feed for the rev counter so i have to bodge it out one of the egn amps
give me a delivery time when i can pick up the one promised in november and mine and i will have Ł1200 waiting for you

I also think your products themselves are very good Simon

I also think, no, i KNOW your a very very clever chap, far more intelligent than myself in this field, but i fear one thing, and this post shows it....

Im scared the product i buy will be faulty or break mate, as then ive a customer like Gus, with no backup

Steve@SCC,
So you would ship more items to a company that has not paid previously - that is bad business.
We wont and that is why you have had not had any more deliveries !!!

Just spoke to Spencer and he has confirmed that SCC DO owe US money.

i have never met you BUT i regard philm as a friend and hes your frieand and due to that i would never jump on a band wagon

im sure broms car having ya ecu has helped sales though and so payed for its reason

Simon,

Look at it from this point of view.

1. SECS is a company with a history of poor deliveries.

2. SCC is a successful company with no bad payments.

3. Spence wouldn't know his arse from his elbow.

You do the maths mate.

Personally, I got sick to the back teeth of having to calm customers down who wanted their units back etc, especially when we used to promise what you said you could deliver.

The ONLY thing that puts me off buying an ECU is that should anything go wrong, I've got no retail support, and no after sales service. I'm not saying anything will go wrong, but I'm not prepared to buy under those conditions.

I'm sure I'm not alone in this........
