Default alarm st24 mondeo.

alarm keeps going of still. tryed setting the key again no good. looked at the sensors look ok. fed up with horn going off anyone tell me where the fuse is for the horn to stop it.or any other ideas?thanks.

the horn is in the nsr quarter, pull the side trim back and pull the connector off, as for the problem 99% of the time it's the bonnet swtich, 30 odd quid from ford, I know as mine failed recently lol

Had the same problem with my old mk1 mondy, was driving my neighbours crazy lol. as above, its in the rear quater, i just disconnected it, so had no alarm horn, but it stopped the neighbours winging.

Just take it to an auto electrician and ask them to diagnose the fault then once you know what it is you can decide whether to tackle it yourself or if it's a bit more involved than what you are happy to undertake get them to quote to carry out the repair. You never know it could be something fairly cheap & easy to fix but until you know what the problem is you will be going round in circles.

If you need any spares for your ST24 contact this fella on Ebay - yaf76, he is currently breaking 2 ST24s so may be able to help you once you know what the problem is. I have just bought a petrol flap release cable from him and he was very helpful and seemed a really decent bloke.

yaf76 lives near me and has just set up on his own breaking mondeos's, nice bloke met him a few times and have bought stuff off him myself.
as for the original problem as I have said, disconnect the bonnet switch and see if the problem goes away, the double locking won't work with it disconnected tho
