has any one on this board ever fitted a screamer kit
on there cosworth it a divice fitted to the turbo
which make a fuking mad noise when its on bost
i think,there are fitted to jap cars skyline, evo ect

they not any kind of "kit" mate, all it is is the external wastegate vented out of a seperate pipe without any silencers rather than just back into the exhaust system

bugger all to do with jap cars either, just whatever cars

people been doing it since the invention of wastegates, not for the noise, jus cause it simpler and less restrictive

See the blue thing... thats my external wastegate. See the pipe running down from it, thats my screamer pipe. Thrilling stuff huh?

Gets me nuff respeck from da bitches though!!! when I is cruising along, mi car makes a wicked noise... sounds like antilag according to my homeboy Ima. He should know as well as he is the mack daddy of da tuing world...

Well Chip you could if you welded up the internal wastegate I suppose... got to me a VERY worthwhile mod because lets not forget that these 'scremers make fuking mad noise when its on bost'

I had one, whilst still running an Internal Wastegate. Take a look at the exhaust pic in my Performance Ford Feature in this months issue.

It's history now though.

Ok, ill change that then, on a cossie there is no point fitting one to an internal wastegate and it would be a lot of hassle for nothing.

Yes I have. Was good fun while it was on there, but the car is better for not having it.
