I KNOW Valuev is not a big puncher... but he is effective, is fit and has amazing engine for a heavyweight and seems totally impossible to hurt!!!

Saw it back then.

Holyfield is a TOTAL AND UTTER FUCKING WARRIOR.... he won that fight for me through sheer gut and the will to win and awesome in fighting skills and experience.... even though he was 46.

He took ridiculous punches off Ridick bowe, Lennox Lewis, Mike Tyson etc etc... if they couldnt hurt him, then how could a soft punching Valuev???

however David haye... is NOT and will never be the indestructible warrior that Holyfield is....

he was chinny at cruiser.... let alone against this dinosaur of a man.

he has also MASSIVE stamina problems... watch him against Carl Thompson on Youtube.

i totally agree with what you say about Holyfield but in that fight all valuev did was follow him around, the fact that hayes is much younger/quicker/ more powerful should see it being alot harder, whether hayes can knock him out i doubt it very much, but taking it into the later rounds i can't see valuev having more in the tank then hayes, especially if he keeps him busy.

Don't forget hayes is only taking this fight to prove something to klitschko, and yes hayes still needs to prove himself in heavyweight, so this will be his make or break fight.

I can't see it being a "great" fight but should be good to see who comes out on top.

Haye is taking this fight for 2 reasons

1. Valuev is easiest champ to beat in reality
2. The money

Haye backed out of the fight against Wlad because money wasnt right (back problem my ASS!!! ) and didnt take the fight against Vitali because he knew he would get murdered!!!

hayes said he didn't like the way either of them did business, but when hayes kicked oof infront of vitali. vitali turned round and said to him heavyweights a different division and alot harder for a smaller guy and he's yet to prove himself in that class, so of course hayes is gunna go after the biggest bastard in the division, who just so happened to have a belt.

if he can put valuev on his arse if i was vitali i'd be worried!
