Mice / vermin experts! GOT 2 of the C**TS
Our house is at the end of a country road very close to farm's our neighbour has been moanin for ages that there is mice in their loft going up through the pipe chases in the kitchen.
Low & behold my missus has just phoned saying she was cleaning the kitchen cupboard & found little droppings next to the pipe's
Whats the best way to get these little fuckers! ? Im away next week from sunday to wed night so a normal mouse trap aint the best because if there was a dead mouse in the trap she wouldnt go in the front door
Is there some kind of food that they eat & die? or take back to a nest then kills all of them? its a private house so cant call the councill

Get some warfarin.
My mum takes it to thin her blood after her heart operation but ironically they also use it to kill mice and rats.

When I was renting a house out in the sticks I had a never ending problem with rats. Me and my neighbour tried everything, poison etc, just couldn't get rid of them. With him, his dogs and an air rifle he managed to 70 of them over a weekend but never managed to get rid of them totally.

If you know where they are coming in then use some expanding foam to block the hole. You can also get humane traps if that is what you want. (Personally i don't like taking prisoners)
If you do poison the fookers you best hope they don't croak when they are in the house as it will stink for weeks

had the same prob at my house, think the bloke used this stuff in tablet form, when they eat it it thins their blood. Apparantly rats are always cutting themselves, with this stuff they dont heal and bleed to death

I've found that life I needed.. It's HERE!!
Our house is on the edge of fields. Heard a scurrying in the loft, at first thought it was a bird. Set a trap anyway and caught the bastard thought it was coming through the ceiling when the trap went off. Still can't see how it got in the loft ?

After living in my house for 7years and being rodent free I have discovered mouse droppings in my garage.I have recently had my kitchen re done so every thing is in the garage.Usually I go in there 3-4 times a week to mess with my bike and things but because access is very limited atm my bike does not get started and the hi fi does not get used.Today I have purchased 3 mouse traps and one tub of peanut butter results to follow .
I just hope the little bastards have not chewed the original recaro leather out of my sapp, and my tech 10's.I have read that chocolate spread is also good for bait.I wouldnt use poison because then you have to find the rotting carcass .

Well i never knew that, serious tablets. Make sure she keeps an eye on them when she gets them as our local pharmacy messed up and we suspect they could of caused his heart failure.

Too many posts.. I need a life!!
If you entend moving, then give them poison.
If not, then trap them. If you use poison, the mice whom are in your house will likely to die within your house structure, wherever their nest is.
Worst still, the mouse goes outside and then your cat catches it, with the poison inside...........
Whilst renovating my house 2 years ago, we found about 50....yes 50 carcusses under the living room floor. No wonder the place stank!
Traps are the sure fire way to get rid.
This is the best trap to use. http://www.diy.com/diy/jsp/bq/nav.js...LAID=266992047
Soften a bit of toffee in the microwave, then stick it to the trap. The mouse has to chew the toffee, so more likely to set the trap off.
2nd choice is peanut butter, like I'm using right now, coz my wife keeps eating the toffee I buy. Grrrr.
I'm sure one of your mates could come round and get the blighter!
If you can get under the units, by removing the plinth, then stick the traps in there, therefore your wife will never know until you get back.
I'm catching at least 2 EVERYDAY for the past MONTH at my house. Although I've lost 1 trap, I'm sure that a mouse is still stuck to it somewhere.
I've got a semi-wild cat outside that seems to do fluff all, but my Westie has nailed 4 that I know of.
