NMS Gunship Live Map!!!!!!!! IS FANTASTIC...
I,d just firstly like to thank Karl & Ollie for doing a great job to my 3dr...
Basically i,ve used Karl for about 5yrs for Weber mapping etc and i,d always heard good things about the Gunship off Tiff, Twellsie and Karl himself. So, with my car being on a Stage 2 TT T3 i thought it was time to give it ago.
Well all i can say is i,m SO glad i did.. the car is just awesome to drive...the torque and how it,s delivered is just... caught me out a few times tbh cus it just comes in with a bang...
I have to say it feels as good, if not better than my T34.48 did, just so punchy and on the money all the time...
It,s peaking @ 27 psi, holding 24psi mid-range and then tails off to 18psi @ the limiter to hopefully preserve the turbo...
Also had lot,s of other bits & bobs done too, i.e plugs, new Black Roose hoses etc, oil leaks done which was a mare to do...SORRY GUYS...
Finally, if anyone with a T3 is thinking of having this done then go ahead and have it, you,ll NOT be disappointed belive me...

How,s things??
Yes, i,m totally blown away how it feels for a T3... sounds like i,m waffling but it,s just great, how long the Turbo will last who knows?? but as Karl said and i know myself, it could last 3yrs, or 3months, BUT i,m going to enjoy it Jay...

PassionFord Post Whore!!
I was well impressed when I had my sapph done and I've still got the chip and keep meaning to sell it It felt like it had more torque than my current stage 3 on a t34 but the t3 was less laggy I suppose. It's a really good mod for a cossie

Give it time and you'll be wanting the power to stay through to the redline rather than creeping away after the initial BIG hit. Then you get better turbo that can hack it.....but your bottom end starts showing its age.....so you get NMS to build you a low comper ready for 500.....but now the turbo is too small again so a gt30 is ordered at the same time as your new box cos you know the old t5 has had one to many full throttle shifts and is more than a bit notchy.......
....the list goes on.
Gotta love it.

Won,t know until it,s be on a Dyno which NEVER bothers me mate tbh, i just prefer how it goes on the road. BUT Karl siad today around 310bhp/350ft/lb... certainly feels that torquey mate, you know from older cars if you get me, the feel of them etc...
I know no 2 cars are the same, but the same map on Twellies saff made 326bhp/356ft/lb...Dyno proven

I have a std 2wd saph and was going to go down the 'off the shelf chip' route although after reading this i'm reconsidering that! Whats the ballpark price for a live map?

Hey Staffi, I know exactly what you mean about how good a t3 can be when its maxxed out. My 3 door is running a t3, and peaks at 24 and holds 21.
The only advantage my saph t34.63 had was top end..
I love the t3 for a road going power band. But yer It's best to have a spare built t3 waiting just in case. Get some videos incar if you can.
