Default People with gaz coilovers

whats everybodys opinion on them as for handling, comfort, as im thinking of putting a set on my ecos and dropping the car down? thanks hugh

Hi Hugh

I have a set of Gaz on my Evo 6 and are very pleased with them for the money they cannot be beaten i have a few customers with them on there volvos and are also happy

hi, thats what i have on the car now there a ery good shock and you still have comfort as for the GAZ i could lower the car down more then the koni's? hugh

Go for Gaz gold they are far better than standard gaz & get the correct spring rates

I ran koni's then gaz and the ride was better on the koni's but it was far from poor on the gaz, i got mine from Cossymad on here an he spec's them with a softer spring than normal.

i have them on my fiesta rst and thay are the nuts. But my mate put them on his mk3 fezza be for he whent to lydden for a track session, rolled the car 3 times and 3 out of 4 shocks were f***. But mine are the nuts.

can good 40mm lowering springs be got for an ecos so i could use my koni's? or could i change my springs on my coilovers,

the only time i be driving the car is at the weekends

S1 john S1, yea i forgot about the drives any lower then 40mm and ill be in bother, cheers hugh

ive got Gaz Golds..... and they leak like fcuk!!! the scary thing being ,they are still brand new (fitted) and have done zero miles!

GAZ are brilliant imo in our stock hatch championship the front runners run either GAZ or Ledas and Gaz are 1/3 of the price.
and these are proper setup cars for racing so they get used very well trust me.
i was running Ledas but running AST next year but our other race car is running Gaz to compare times!

i had gaz golds and never had a problem, willbe buying a set for the new saph cos project too without a doubt

I had gaz coilovers on my escos and was very pleased with them.

the car was nice and stiff and handled really well

is using coilovers on the ecos put more prease on the REAR trumpets? cheers hugh

Same as me,i just use koni's . i put gaz shocks on my car and took them back off after 20 miles. there shit imo
