hi guys, need to know what sort of bhp a 4x4 7inch Diff can handle ?

 

its torque that kills them mate

wouldnt chance going beyond 420/420

 

if i was to get a 7 1/2inch diff with the beam would it fit the trailing arms and handle around 500bhp mate ?

 

depends really mate on how you drive; but it wont last long if launching etc. if you cant afford a gripper or quaiffe etc then maybe get the standard one welded

it might last a bit longer; but you'll suffer when driving it at lower speeds & cornering
