edis unit bit confussed?
hay all bought a edis 6 today to convert my motor from dizzy to edis
anyway got home opened the box and i found an esc module in there with the part number 89fb-12a297-ga on it thought ummm that dont look like an edis 6 so cheked up on the net and as far as i can see its for a 1.3 fiesta or escort so its like ummmmm not happy.
can any 1 shed some like on my info am i right or do they use the same on a v6
any help on this would be most appreciated

it will say "edis4" or "edis6" on the unit, denoting either a 4 or 6 cylinder application
the only idifference, as far as i am aware, is that one has 2 green wires and one has 3 green wires and, again, as far as i am aware, this is theonly difference
although i'm not sure that's going to help as i am not sure how you'd go about adding an additional green wire to the pair already there

yea thats what i thought and this thing i have here says esc on it nothing else it looks like an edis but then its got like a mapp sensor pipe on it?

yea thats not what you want that is a standalone system made buy ford as it advances the igg curve vire montering the presure in that pipe but will not run a v6 lol funny as it sounds i no some one who wants one of those how much lol
