Default ear plugs? possible club bouncer question.

ok does anybody know of some good ear plugs for going to raves with i know the hole point is to listen to the music but the valve at custard factory is beyond healthy maybe bouncers have a good idea on some re-useable ones to use

lol no not proper tinitus my ears have been ringing a little but i'v had an infection in them, i just want to not get tinitus in the first place , i'm careful at work cos we use the hammer drills and stuff but whats the point if i go out and batter my ear drums with some mega loud system

If your biggest worry about going the custard factory is that the music might be too loud you aren't doing enough kit!

ive got it but only when its REALLY quiet.

You can get disposable foam ear plugs from most builders merchants. the ones i used when drilling, you just squashed them up, stuffed them in your ear and they expanded slightly, and you can hear much less
They were comfortable tho.

i'm a good boy now and laying off all that shite , the gear is nothing like it used to be, admitted i did munch half a pill a couple of weeks back for electricity there at the factory just to liven me up cos had been on the go all weekend and have to admit i did rush a little , but usually it's just the drink i stick too.

custard factory is a good venue though isn't it, where going hospitality this weekend

yea i think i'v got it like that but it's not a proper ringing but cheers for the help i'v used the foam ones alot i just wanted to be swanky and get some re-useable ones that looked funky , worst comes to worse i'v got some foams ones in my works bag

goto your local record shop and if there any good there have some! or u can goto boots iv herd the do fitted ear plugs ..or just goto builders merchants!! for cheepies

I use the foam ones from Boots, 3 pairs in a box and I use each pair for about a week each. It's only for the missus's snoring but they make you almost deaf!

get an umbrella to protect you from the sweat rain from the pipe aswell lol

if there is any record shop in brum that'll sell plugs, i no witch one to go too , and i can pinch the cheepies of site at work

i don't envy you mate with the snoring, but if you heard how loud this system goes almost deaf is about suffice when they turn it up it'll vibrate your eyeballs and that is fact

the custard factory will never be as bad as new years eve slamming vynil at NEC, it was honestly raining off the ceiling, i'v been to some sweaty clubs but that took the biscuit

I don't know where you can get these made, as mine were made at work for me. But basically, you can have custom ear plugs made... They use a type of silicon ( no, not your anti mould bathroom sealant before you try) and they sqeeze the stuff unto your ears. They then use that as a mold to make you soft plastic ones. As they are custom made they fit perfectly and will cut out most of the noise. I'm sure you can get them made privately.

yea will be there this weekend it's a good club esp when they have the valve set up reason for the plugs , and yea it's open but not many nights are put on there it's a bloody cold club though aint it lol
