Police Crashed Into Skyline.
Went southend tonight. Then we went lakeside. A Skyline was drifting around a round about. And on its way out. The police just pulled in front of him.

The police will call it a tactical stop and the skyline owner will of course be at fault and they will throw the book at him with any thing they can get away with

I know we all drive like knobs sometimes, but what do u expect when u turn up at a place renound for boy-racers driving like knobs and there not being a night go by without an accident then drive like a knob and get pulled?? Agreed tbe way they stopped the car was excessive, but if the skyline wasnt speeding/drifting he would of stopped in time anyway....

so after doing a illegal manouver around a roundabout you automaticly think he will potter off doing 10 mph when leaving~? i expect he boosted off the roundabout, police saw him doing it and thought "Youll do!"

That the police caused the accident, I don't think anyone here is disputing. But you only have to LOOK at that car (the Skyline) and you get some idea of the mentality of the driver...

It begs the age old question, why can't authorities find a space where this sort of thing can go on, with people understanding it's their own risk, it gets it off the street that way.

From what i can understand the police basiclly were doing their job, what would you all be saying if the skyline drifted round the roundabout and crashed into your nan minding her own business in her little fiesta? The liner owner is obviously a knobhead to be doing that on a public roundabout and its people like that who get car entusiasts all tarred with the shitty stick.

The police tried to work with 'cruisers' and helped stage Weston Wheels. It was clear that what the police wanted and what the cruisers wanted were completely different things.

sideways all the way!
he might have been doing wrong but i dont think the coppers needed to smash in to him, just blocking him would have been okay, unless it was totally unavoidable, liner driver wants to be getting ambulance chasers to sue piggys up
