Time to start building the weapons (fireworks) cache.......
Up by me, the Standard Fireworks (Black Cat) factory shop is now open and nearly everything is buy one get one free aswell as being heavily reduced by 70%
I've been and started stocking up - £100 got me this little lot
8 packs of these rockets
4 Packs of these rockets
2 Packs of these rockets
Somenice and pretty fizzy light fountain things for the god daughter
A nice selection of loud explosive "mine" type devices for the big kids
I'll be going back for more soon but I know it's not quite on a par with Warren and his Nuclear devices to stop burglers

Nice haul dude
I remember going in to a shop a couple of years ago on bonfire night at about 10pm, i'd actually gone down for some more beers, but the ONLY firework they had left in the shop was a £100 rocket... some haggling later and i got it for £50.
Went back to my mates and broke the bad news that i'd not bought much beer, but to come have a look in the garden...
I'm sure this thing was a full on display job as it recommended a 50metre distance from launch area.
What i can only describe as a scud missile was then let off in his back garden.
Was an awesome thing!

Love fireworks, but other half wont let me have some proper loud stuff, cos the kids dont like it.
I remember a few years ago, few mates round and someone had bought a proper big rocket, 50 or 60quid type thing. Set it up properly, lit the fuse and retreated, it lifted off about 2 foot and never went any further, just laid on the floor. Destroyed the veg patch when it finally went bang.
