Default Saph off set ????

Hello people im selling some of my wheels off to get some comps for my saph

question is what is the right off set for saph fitment ? never understood all this offset thing so dont wanna get it wrong

7 inch width is et40.

8 inch I'd go with ET35 or 32. Mind tyre sizes though.

thanks mate, ive found a few sets which are et40 with 205's, which seems way to small to me

I run coil over with 8x17 MOs ET38 . Tyres are 235/40 17 and no rubbing on arches. Watch the inners though.

though "normal" 17's/7" were 37/38 offset.........thats what i was told (and have)...???

All depends on what width wheel and size tyre you want to run i have mates who use 205/40/17's on there sapphs but they are very low i had 215/40/17's on mine which suited the car better i think all used et35 wheels
If you want to go wider say 235 you are goin to need a wheel with a lower offset to keep tyre away from suspension.

Reyland supplied my Comps (17" 5 spokes), ET37, 7.5x17, look just right to me
