I went last year as a marshall. Was my first time on a WRC event.
Wasn't impressed to be honest. Haefron (sp) was cancelled cos it was icey. Now I know they want it to be safe, but come on, this lot are supposed to be the absolute mac daddies of driving, and they cancel a stage because of ice? I thought rallying was about overcoming the elements and terrain![Surprised](https://passionford.com/forum/images/smilies/bigcry.gif)
Did Crychen on the Saturday, much better as the stages actually ran, but it still didn't rock my world. Yes it is quite impressive to see them in the metal, and hear the noises, and see the flames as it gets dark, but it just isn't all that.
There's so few entries it seems. You get the WRCs come through (which there's just hardly any of), an absolute army of production-spec Evo's, a few Fiesta STs and things, then some Land Rovers.
I'd much rather go to club level events, where you get all sorts of cars and huge fields. WRC is just boring these days sadly.
