Default Focus 03 plate

Hi i have a problem with my speedo/rev clock and also the little lcd screen that tells you how many miles you have done etc they are not working! stoped off to fill the car up and then left the garage with them not working??!!?? anyone help?

that happen to mine after a gearbox change, was the vss (vehicle speed sensor) went up the shitter. ib5?

IB5 it's the gearbox in 1.8 and 1.6 zetec focus's.

I dont know why it just went though? was all working fine then just started her up and nothing was moving must be something simple

Does holding down the odometer buttonm then turning ignition on do anything? It used to on the older fords do a dash sweep etc, might show something?

VSS on al focus is a common fault dude, it mite not be that tho.
if it is u can change it urself easily.

The temp gauge and fuel gauge isnt working either, its a focus tdci sport o3 plate
Whats the odometer button do and where is it?

If the VSS failed then the speedo wouldn't work, the mileage etc would still show.

I'm gonna suggest knackered clocks, quite common on them to fail!

m8 if al else fails and ya cnt repair it urself, abacus, kent based company take it there or they will cum out 2 u.

I had this on mine all the clocks died on me and i changed the VSS (what a shit job) and all was fine after.

Right i have just checked the fuses and nothing has poped put them back in and turned her on and some how its working? strange!

Try removing the dash panel and clean the connections and spray lightly all connections with a spray that you can get from maplins then reassamble this some times works, be careful not to damage the rear of the clocks.
