i'm prob going to get a 360 for this, which is the one to go for? Can i just get any cheapo 2nd one? None of them come with blue ray do they, and i'm not arsed about HD size as there won't be anything going on it.

Rick, on a lot of games now you need to store stuff on the HD. IE this Forza game has in install 1.9gb of track and cars!
Just noticed on this one that you can drift and also drag race!!! lol
You can alter the size of front and rear wheels on cars haha.

Ive had FM3 for over a week now lol
Completed nearly all of the races on the event select screen....the drag racing ones get rather boring though, 3 1/4 mile heats time and time again!

I got it after work today, love it! Its a massive improvment over FM2 which i didnt think was really possible.
TBH though its crashed twice in the couple hours ive been playing it which is pretty fucking annoying!
I started with a zetec s and i put an rs200 lump in it runnin FWD lol uncontrolable

Got mine delivered today and have had a good go on it tonight but jesus what a game. I played the demo and just expected it to be Forza 2 with slighty better graphics and a few extra cars (which would have been fine) but the graphics, the sound the gameplay, menus and layout has all MASSIVELY improved IMO. Noticed it big time as well because I was on 930G and trying to get the last two achievements done upto 1000G so have been hammering no games but Forza 2 last couple of weeks.
Nice to see it has proper parts/tuners in for this region as well istead of just wheels companies mainly. Obviously we new the Fiesta, Focus RS and RS200 were in it but Cosworth been in the game is mental, also has green air filters and the like too. It came up MSD parts/tuner as are available after I did some races on season in the Focus, surely not Stu's Motorsport Developments? Why hasn't this been mentioned before or am I just blind, nearly fell off the sofa.Or is it MSD ignition as only skim read it. Gonna say that would be mental if they were in it. Imagine Reyland and the like too, lol.
Loving the new menus, season mode and layout which makes a nice change from all that same old race folder with lots of other race cateory folders inside a la Forza 2 and all the Gran Turismo's of old. The narrated voiceover gives a bit of extra atmosphere to the menus as well instead of just reading everything. The achievements are a bit easy and silly though as they seem to be popping up all the time but who cares about them.
What a game, any racing game or those into cars must get this game. Also I take it the Bugatti Veyron and its 10 for speed rating puts to bed the 1966 GT40 and everyone picking it on Speedring, lol. Going to tuck into this tomorrow am big time.

Even though i've just bought it, i'd advise you to wait until they fix all the bugs and sort out the online racing...
Might have to go and buy a new one in a bit! Wonder if Asda or Tesco will have any Forza 3's in..

Well spent 7 hours straight on it last night, absolutely epic! I've fallen in love with my M3 E30 then spent a fortune on an M5 which sounds amazing, then one hour later was given an M5 for free as a reward, Doh! Will hopefully get some pics up shortly!
If you haven't got a 360 then buy one as it is worth it. I'd recommend this if your tempted and don't want to shell out to much:

Picked up my copy along with a new xbox super elite fri 11am
it was back in the box at 3pm disk tray packed up
