Default Sump plug

Went to change oil on my Fiesta MK6 and sump plug wont shift and nut is buggard up a bit any suggestions please

Hammer a socket 1 size smaller than what it should be onto it then buy a new plug

Yup you can try that, if that doesn't work then you or someone who can weld can weld a nut on to it to remove it.

hammer and sharpish chisel mate and give it a good thump anti clock wise. the shock alone will free it up. mind buy a new one first though to put back in!

I find the weld a nut on it best, as the heat helps to loosen the plug.
