Default Zetec into a XR3i

As title, is it just a simple bolt in and hook up job or is there modifications to be made, like engine mount etc?

Thanks

think both the silvertop and the blacktop will need the mount modding lee,

as with the 1.8 sump route to retain the standard exhaust manifold and config ,

few wires to connect , and fuel pump mods depending what setup the xr has

theres a fully detaild conversion in last months fast ford mate,

its the issue with shitfys 4x4 s1 on the cover ,

hope this helps , beef

depending on what sepc zetec, you may need to use the cvh flywheel and clutch, i had to on mine as i had the 130bhp version, the cvh flywheels holes need enlarging slightly aswell

engine mounts like all zetecs use cvh mount and just mod one hole, needs cutting and welding into position

wiring use full zetec engine loom without pats sytem, need to wire an extra ignrion relay ad 2 fuses

water sytem can be a pain i found out due to size of zetec water pipe and postion of it, but with some mods its a simple fix

use mk3 fiesta alt bracket for alternator and a belt to suit

exhaust use zetec downpipe then make it fit the cvh system
