as above its my work mates.

got a problem the battery keeps dying on him.

last week he took the bat out to put on charge while at work but he dident fit it back properly and on the way home the termanals touched the bonnet and cut the car out,so we replaced the earth.
what kind of damaged could this do?

anyway the battery dying was happening before so back to the first problem.
as said bat lasts 2 days everything seems fine just wont keep a charge in any baterry

to date we have

changed battery (one from scrapy,going to try the one off my focus aswell)

disconected sterio(he fitted it just before all the probs)

theres no light coming up on the dash to say its the altornator

so any ideas???

Diode pack on the alternator would be my bet. It won't bring up any lights on the dash either
