Suddenly cut off then worked once facia was romoved and put back on.

Now dead altogether.


Radio doesn't work and the CD looks like its player (counts the seconds and tracks ect fine and vol ect ect ) but no sound on either radio or CD!?


Any ideas!?

The only thing thats unplugged is the std equaliser thingy as it was by-passed!

not that clued up on kenwood mate im a sony man myself.

All i can suggest is check and trace all wires and fuses, after that probably bin it.

id go for the slightly older active black, motorized front, graphic equaliser etc, looks bling i had one last year and im sorry i sold it now.

Iv had sony head units for the past 7 years and never had a problem atall, just bought a pioneer unit and its broke already im going back to Sony



you can probably pic up a cheap one on ebay mate, just search for sony active black

All sorted, the speaker pins had come out so it was as if the speakers weren't connected, had to search high and low, they had disappeared!

shit does happen. it happen to my kenwood cd player i had.

Now just does the same as before, works for about 15-20 seconds if you're lucky. I think those wires just came out when I took it out!
