For anyone intrested,

The car was sent into VOSA and the police had Anslised his speed. There was a fault with the Steering Colum and Ford are giving him a new car.

Hes someone i know from nottingham that hang around with our Clang now and again, and TBF that island can be taken at over 60... been done many of times

there got a few faults like all new fords
ford forgot to wash the steering racks out when they made them so just think about
all the bits of metal floating around in the pas system which fucks the pump.
boost pipes made to soft.

I dont know Alot about them but James from the Notts RS and there Rally Mag had one not last weekend but the weekend before. The blue F RS, not sure on diffrence but they coverd over 90miles from getting it to handing it back, and they say it was a Mint car to drive, even had it Sideways into Islands.

Scandnavion(sp) Flicks n all that with the rear end up and sideways.
Doing Handling Tests for there Review.

And all i really know is its a Focus RS with a Volvo engine if im correct in saying, few changes to Engine setup such as Main crossover ect. thats all i really know about them.

Yesterday we where reviewing the new Focus RS, Me and a Friend of mine Chris(Head Editor), Edit Rallye News for the RS owners Club and managed to get hold of the new Focus for a weekend, here a couple of pics from the day.

When the Focus ST was released late 2005/early 2006, it was well documented that those vehicles were having repeated power steering failures causing loss of steering assistance. When I had my ST, I had the same fault and had to have a number of components replaced under warranty.

Considering the core of the ST and RS is none too disimilar, it sounds like Ford still haven't got it right.
