my problem is both front and rear brakes are seized on. so the car cant move.

the rear drum is sezed on the pads , i have tried hitting the drum but it didnt work.

Assuming you can get at the wheels to remove, knock the pads out, and whack the drums hard at the outer edge around the drum, make sure it is not the cable jammed by yanking on this to pull it off.

thanks for reply..

do you mean hitting the drum face and not the edge?

i have pulled the handbrake on and off a couple of times dont make a difference, but i did park the car with the handbrake off.

my main problem is size and light .so if i can free the rear wheels , i will have to put the front wheels on dollies and pull the car out of the garage to get to the fronts.

also i know the clutch is stuck onto the flywheel and the engine hasnt been run for 24 months .

i was putting the rebuild off but as somebody has taken an interest in my garage , its best to rebuild and get rid ..

its a 1980 mk2 rs2000 custom with ford x pack 7inch alloys.

Usually helps by hitting the drum on the flat edge, on the outside face of where the shoes rub inside sort of thing, try to hit at 12 o'clock position.
