Default I- Pods and there rivals?

Ritey then peeps, i've decided that i want an i-pod, or similar.
Would like it to be at least 40 gig, as i know that within about 6months ill have filled that up, so anything smaller is out of the question.
I've used i-pods, and really like them, but what does everyone think of the creastive jobbies- they seem really good valur for money- 220 for a 60 gig jobbie seems awesome! how do they compare with i-pods for ease of used etc......?
Im assuming they'd both be ok to run/ cyle with etc.....?
Just after some advice of anyone whom had one!

cheers rolls!

One of the other IT guys has the Creative one and I asked him how he rates it on Monday. He only got it as the iPod mini wasnt about at the time but says it suits him just perfectly. He only uses it in the car though. Said it was really good but just doesnt have the fashion appeal of the iPod. I sell most of the range but its the iPods that are the hit. I dont have any complaints about the Creative and there is a Benq one as well, although not as big.

The good thing about iPods is that you can buy one and I believe you can get free technical help for a couple of months. I had a mini, but was way to small in capacity for the amount of music I had in my itunes. (which works Perfect with any iPod). I have a 20 gig one it's suits me fine.
I'm also Pro Apple though.
