Spoke to baz tonight, he is having laptop problems, he is on the case of replying with the story but cant get on till HOPEFULLY tomorrow.

He did say though that he has bought the RS1600i and is letting me have it for £400 :) :cry:

loving the fact how people do respond to things like this whats the problem is it because you havent found them, oh and the comments from saying thay are both rotton how the hell do you know if thay are or not you havent seen them for a matter of fact my mate said the RS1600i looked good for what he could see on the underside and the S1 had no carpet in it but the floor didnt seem to be that bad,..but rotton as fook on the rear panel and bonnet, the s1 had a bad accident in the past thats why its dumped there

anyway i was going out with a girl in 2001 and her dad had this car on his drive he worked for the wrc something to do with prodrive at the time i asked a few time's if he would sell it and she said no he wouldnt part with it as it was a family car from new and at the time it had been sitting there doing nothing for some time, anyway in 2002 the car went to 2 local brother's who run some window firm but he never did anything with it but did start it up 4 year ago it was running fine without any problems, i did wonder where the car went bu tfound out that it was this one

the car had something to do with another guy who was working with another rally team he also had an rs1600 mark 2 that was just dumped but i never found out what happend to that

the lad that owns it now has also offerd me his s1 but no offer has been putfor that yet, he is doing a full restore on a s1 that has taken about 10 years the shell was painted twice and he wasnt happy with it so left it, he did say the whole lot including massive amount of new ford parts was up for sale for £3000 once but no intrest made him keep it, he wants me to have alook at the shell for him and i will post some pics up of it when i get to see it..

i have bought the 1600i of him its now mine i should of got it today but due to delay of space at my workshop i couldnt get it so plans have been made for wed evening i will post pics of it tidy when i get it. at the moment i have no idea what i will do with it but will let you know

So what part of the S1 took the accident? good on you though about the 1600i mate..

driver side had a hard impact, driver side inner wheel arch was bent this indicated the the wheel was pushed back very hard and the piller was bent and had shit loads of filler put in it...

just had another at the pic of it and yes i can confirm that will never go back on the road it is rotton as hell on the front and on the floor, i did say above that it wasnt to bad but forgot about the rest of the rot as i didnt take much notice of it i only took some pics and went from there,

read the post tidy dickhead, if thay were stolen why would thay have number plates still on them also theres no sign of them being stolen in a check that one member has done

Lol reminds me of what my mate was telling me the other day! Hes selling his RS1600i as a whole project or breaking (well, hes breaking it now this was 2 weeks ago). A guy phoned about it, asked loads of questions as normal, my mate told him everything about it and what it needed doing, spent about 15 mins on phone , after he had told him everything he said to the caller ''so how does that sound to you'', caller said ''well, i dont know im after a mk2'' :cry: My mate just hung up :wall: CLOWN :cry:
